Jazz Event Announcement – Aqua Citta Naha 10F Bar

Aqua Citta Naha – 10th Floor Bar will host a live jazz event on the following date.
Enjoy a special evening of live music performed by four accomplished musicians based in Okinawa, accompanied by the beautiful night view from our rooftop bar.
The performance is free of charge for both hotel guests and outside visitors.

🎼 Artist Profiles
Daisuke Kawahara – Drums
Active as a professional musician since 1996, Kawahara performs across a wide range of genres including jazz, rock, world music, and club music.
His distinctive setup incorporates the djembe, creating unique rhythmic textures. He has supported numerous artists, including THE SAKISHIMA meeting.

Chiyo Hirose – Keyboard
Born in Yokohama, Hirose is a two‑time recipient of the Clayderman Piano Competition Excellence Award.
She performs across multiple genres with a focus on jazz and Brazilian music, and has released many original works.
Now based in Okinawa, she appears at live venues, events, and hotels, and has performed with artists such as Clémentine and AAA.

Hideki Takao – Bass
Based in Okinawa, Takao performs extensively at live houses and music events.
Rooted in jazz, he also supports pop artists and performs in musicals and theatrical productions.
He has appeared at international events including the Taipei International Jazz Festival, Korea Live, Kanazawa Jazz Street, and Jazz in Nanjo.
As a member of the Ryukyu Chimudon Band, he has toured the U.S., China, Taiwan, and Russia, and has numerous performances aboard luxury cruise ship theaters.
His expressive versatility and solid musicianship are highly acclaimed.

Ryuichiro Okazaki – Saxophone
Okazaki began playing saxophone in a community wind ensemble during university and competed in wind ensemble contests.
At 28, he formed his own band and has performed at restaurants on Kadena Air Base, hotels across Okinawa, and various outdoor events.
His sound—both powerful and delicate—continues to captivate audiences.
