Regarding Food Allergy Handling by Resorts Ryukyu Corporation
1.Basic Policy on Food Allergy Handling
Resorts Ryukyu Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") operates hotels that offer meals containing food ingredients with allergens, including "specified raw materials (wheat, eggs, milk, walnuts, shrimp, crab, buckwheat, peanuts)" and others. These meals are prepared using the same cooking utensils and cooking oil. As such, please understand that our facilities cannot provide meals with allergens completely removed, nor can they guarantee allergen-free offerings.
2.Information for Guests
At our hotel's buffet-style restaurant facilities, if you inform our staff either at the time of reservation or on the day of your visit, we can provide low-allergen menu options such as salads and fruits. In light of this, we kindly request that guests make the final decision regarding their use of the restaurant.
For guests with food allergies, bringing their own safe food items (limited to retort-packed or frozen foods) is permissible for consumption within the restaurant. Please notify us in advance in such cases. Additionally, retort pouch foods permitted for bringing must be sealed through heat fusion and pressure-sterilized while unopened. For hygiene management reasons, we regret to inform you that homemade food items are not allowed to be brought into the restaurant.
Should allergen contamination (such as cross-contamination) cause allergic symptoms, ensuring the health and safety of our guests becomes the foremost priority, and we may be compelled to decline service.
Please note that we cannot accommodate requests for in-room meal services with allergy considerations.
Requests for chopped food are not supported.
We cannot accommodate changes to menu content due to preferences, dislikes, or requests unrelated to allergies.
If it is determined that providing an allergy-responsive menu may be difficult while prioritizing guest safety, we may refuse to provide meals. We kindly ask for your understanding in such situations.
3.Information Provided by Guests
When consulting the Company regarding food allergies, guests are requested to disclose necessary information in advance for our hotel's process.
Personal information obtained from guests will only be used for providing allergy-responsive menu options and for contacting medical institutions in case of unexpected allergic reactions occurring at our facilities. It will not be used for any other purposes.
